5/20/2009: Picks to Click

I am going to continue in this format for a while and see how it works out. If you would like to have your picks posted and tracked please post them in the comments section with a short explanation for each pick and I will add them to the post.

Bunyah's Picks:

1) Tampa Bay - I have been following them this season and Kazmir is due. I think he should go off against the A's

2) Pit Pirates - Malholm has been tearing up the competition. Last start he has a 0 ER through 7 innings. I think he should have a great day against the Nats.

BamaHammers's Picks:

First pick today will be the Dodgers ..again. The mets have a decent pitcher, so do the dodgers. The Dodgers have better bats, going with the Crips on this one.

2nd pick...KC! All about pitching tonight.

My 5 star pick...has to be the RAYS. It's oakland...the game went long last night. It will not happen again.

and yes...I think the Yanks will pull out another win.

We all agree on Tampa Bay today, I also like the D-backs in the second game of the doubleheader, and the Angels over the M's. All Money line wagers here.

Well, I guess I have jump on the Rays bandwagon. I think the Rays are my favorite pick as well. My other pick today is Angels over M's.

UEFA Cup Final is today in Istanbul, Turkey. I like Shakthar Donetsk to be the first Ukrainian team to hoist the trophy.

Danno's Picks:

I like Yanks again... T bay and Kazmir... Pittsburgh...Brew crew and Gallardo,,, and stayin on the Dodgers!!! Mets cant win out west!! Leanin toward the Magic cause I think everybody and there brother is on the CAVS!!!

Garsha's Pick:

Tool's Picks:

My big play tonight is the under 184 in the Cavs/Orl game. The list of stats goes on and on here. Dwight howard cannot be stopped and he will be guarding the lane with confidence against James. Im from cleveland and im going Orlando with the under hard. good luck

I'm going to gamble on Kazmir righting the ship tomorrow and picking up a win for Tampa Bay over the Oakland A's. Kaz has been pretty awful of late, but this pitching line makes me feel that he'll be just fine tomorrow:

5/19/2009: Picks to Click

While I'm taking a little break from picking all the games, some users have posted their picks in the comments section to keep the site rolling. Yanks are big favs at home for a reason and the Dodgers will continue to help the Mets wet down the Slip & Slide. Pirates take a 2nd game from the Nationals who are, well, the Nationals. Karstens was included in the Nady trade for a reason and he's doing well outside the bright lights of Broadway.

As for me, I'm going with the ChiSox today with Buehrle throwing as my top pick. The twins have sucked on the road (4-12) and Baker has given up 4 or more runs in all of his outings but one this season.

After looking over the NBA Western Conference Final tonight I've decided that the over 214.5 is my play here. I think David Stern and the NBA want to put on a show tonight after the two atrocious game 7's over the weekend. The game will be played at a wicked pace and I think the number will be crushed by at least 10. The game should be relatively close at the end allowing for some bonus points from free throws during the final minutes too. Take the over tonight.
