Razor's Picks:

Missed the early games this morning and right now I think i'm pretty happy about that. WTF is going on with the Blue Jays. It's 8-8 now. Incredible. Only pick that I would've made that looks good is the Tigers. I've been looking over the late card and I can't find anything of value at this point. I may make a play on the Laker game tonight, but for now I can't see a significant call either on the total or the game. Looks like a day off for me. Good luck all!!!

Rez's Picks: (7-8-1)

Nice got my record up to .500, I'll take it considering my first few days!!
Anyways, starting off the day with some tennis matches, hopefully starting off with some money early just like today.
I'm on Michael Youzhny for -250 in Men's, Carla Suarez Navarro for -250 in Women's, and Maria Sharapova at +115 just for that amazing value. Then I'm taking Ronaldo's crew Manchester United over Barcelona in Rome tomorrow morning in what should be a great match!
For b-ball I'm taking the Lakers at -6 and for the race to 20 points, along with the over 209.5 as I expect the Lakers to come out strong at home and try picking up the pace after the blowout yesterday.
In hockey I'm taking the same two picks as usual, Red Wings and the over 5.5 as they are just too dominant and should take the series tomorrow.
Finally for baseball I like the Cubs and Big Z at home, the under 10 in LAD/Col with two hot pitchers on the mound, the Blue Jays led by Doc to get back on track, the Nationals +1.5 with insane value of +110 with Zimmerman on the mound, the Angels to avoid the sweep against the Sox, the over 11 in NYY/Tex with two of the highest scoring teams in baseball going at it, and finally the Devil Rays over Zach Jackson and the Indians, although the line for that game isn't out yet.
A lot of picks but a lot of money to be won, hopefully we are all in the black tomorrow!!

Danno's Picks: (5-2)

Goin with the Lakers -6 and the over 209.5. In MLB... Takin Arroyo and my Cinncy Reds to stay hot!!! Also Likin the Yankees... Mets and Red Sox... Also takin Johnson and the Giants as they are playing well at home!!!

Bunyah's Picks: (1-1)

Lakers ML
Toronto Blue Jays

Tool's Picks: (1-2)

Denver +6 & Ov209.5
My first impression based on vibe. The more i dig the worse i do. Whatever reason i give will backfire anyway, so... flying off the seat of my pants on this one.

S.F.
R.Johnson Taking a chance with Randy and playing at home. Not so confindent here, Randy has been struggling against just avg. teams.
wtf do i know anymore.

i should take the day like razr. im too stubborn tho. Another thing, Mike Brown can go @#$%^&*(! himself.

Dankone's Picks:

EFlo's Picks: (0-1)

denver +6. the lakers suck more than the cavs right now.

BowlSnapper's Picks: (3-3)

Some afternoon baseball on the money line:

Toronto over Baltimore - Roy Halladay stops the bleeding. He's used to this and he's been doing it for years. *****pick

St. Louis over Milwaukee - No Ryan Braun and that lineup is easier to pitch around. ***pick

Detroit over Kansas City - I like the under play here as well (9 runs), but I'll go with the side and Porcello. ****pick

And for tonight:

PHILLY over Florida - Burke Badenhop is a gas can looking for a match. If he sees the 5th inning, it's because Freddie Gonzalez has no one else to turn to in that fearsome Marlins "bullpen". The over is an excellent play to pair with this (10 runs), but again, I'll take the side with confidence. *****pick

Cincy/Houston Under 10 - I like the under here mainly because of Arroyo's sharpness of late and Paulino has pitched well, but gets some of the least run support in the majors. Plus, the game's NOT in Houston, where it's like tee ball on a launching pad.

I also like Red Wings/Blackhawks over 5.5 goals tonight. Chicago will be hurling the puck at the net to avoid elimination and will take some chances. Detroit's too good and will score off those mistakes, and they'll probably wrap it up tonight. I don't feel as confident about the side in this one, though, as I feel the over is the better play in an elimination game (see ORL/CLE last night). Should the Blackhawks eke out that 4-3 victory in Game 5, they'll lose Game 6 and we'll have a rematch of last year's Stanley Cup.

Good luck to all - btw, some of the pickers were chatting yesterday around 4pm EST - pop in to chat, and throw your two cents in!

Garsha's Pick: (1-0)

Dodgers +1.5

BamaHammer's Picks: (1-1)

Mets and Jays

KyleC's Picks: (0-2)

Rough start out of the gate, but I'm looking to get back in the saddle tonight. Put me down for Denver at +6 and over 209.5, lock it up!

RedRaider's Picks: (1-3)

Well, the Mets actually pulled it off last night. Avoided the bandwagon, and this one came in. Also, it looks like Lebron is going to be watching his commercials with Kobe at home!!!

First off today, Champions League soccer, probably the 2nd most desired trophy in the world. (World Cup first?) Hollywood, I have to correct you just a bit. No team has held the cup back to back in the tournament's current format. However, AC Milan held the title for 1989-90, Bayern Munich won 3 in a row in the 80's, and Real Madrid won 5 in a row back in the 60's. Not impossible...however, I think the safe bet here is over 2.5 goals. Both teams are successful because of their stacked rosters of offensive players. Wide open game that will go 2-1 or 3-2. I also think this game could go extra time and I lost my bet of the UEFA Cup Final because of how Vegas grades the bets. Remember when betting, if you are on the ML and it goes extra time, you lose even if your pick eventually wins! Take the over!

In baseball, I have 3 picks because there is a lot of danger on today's board, IMHO.

1. Blue Jays -1.5 - Halladay rarely loses back to back and the Jays need to salvage a game here.

2. Phillies -1.5 - One word, one name - Badenhop. This guy is a Juggs pitching machine and the Phillies are going to take BP today.

3. Mets -1.5 - Santana. Lock. Mets win.

The rest of the games make me nervous. Good luck all!

bbfreak's Picks: (4-1)

Phillies ML
Looking for Phillies to sweep the Marlins in this series. Marlin's All-Star shortstop Hanley Martinez's status is uncertain after he left Tuesday's game in the 3rd inn because of tightness in his groin. Phillies' starting pitcher Brett Myers has been giving nice performances in his last 2 starts. I'll take my chance although Phillies are 2-7 in Myers' last 9 starts.

Reds ML
With Astros' bats are struggling and Reds' Arroyo on the mound, I don't have to think twice about taking the Reds. Looking at the numbers, Reds are 5-1 in Arroyo's last 6 starts versus teams with losing records. Look for another series sweep here...

Mets ML
It's the Nationals vs. Santana. Need I say more?

Twins ML
Hoping for Twinkies' bats stay warm after last night win against Red Sox. Morneau, batting .417, hits well Dice-K, 4-9 with a dinger and a double lifetime. Mauer who is batting .429 is warm as well. The only key here is to have Slowey shut down Sox's bats.

Lakers -6
Yes, it's true that Nuggets have been hot covering the spread in their last 26 games, 21-5. But... Lakers are even hotter to cover the spread after a loss, 6-0 ATS last 6 games after SU loss and 4-1 ATS last 5 games after ATS loss. Plus I think Lakers gets the sense of urgency tonight as they really need to win before heading back to Denver for game 6. Hoping for Kobe to go big tonight and Lakers to cover the spread.

Good luck everyone!

Hollywood's Picks: (6-3)

Today I will have to take manchester united as a top pick.....no one has won the champions league in 2 consecutive years in the history of its competition, but I will be heavily favoring ronaldo and the boys today. I would take the lakers at the money line to be safe, cuz all of these playoff games tend to be quite "down to the wire". Have to go with doc and the jays today.....i mean come onnnn....8 losses in a row.....this is rediculous. For hockey, definitely expect detroit to close it out here, but i would bet under 5.5 on the goals. Most likely 4-1 or 3-2 score line. As far as for the rest of baseball...i will take the red sox, cubs, st louis cardinals, and new york yankees all on the money line. thanks fellas.

Can you help me out and double check your record? I had you up on the main board twice and I think I may have missed a game or two of yours.
